Zack Olander - Bent-ness, or the concept of fallenness in The Space Trilogy
One thing I wonder about is why Lewis would write about Earth being the only place in the entire universe that is fallen. If there are alien races all around outer space, what makes human beings so awful when compared with other races? Given that space is so unimaginably vast, it seems almost impossible that there wouldn't be other planets that are "silent," that do not have a guardian spirit that watches over it, statistically speaking. On the other hand, I understand that it's fiction and that it's a science fiction retelling of the Genesis myth, but it still kind of bothers me.
